2. Purpose
These terms and conditions of sale govern the relationship between Mimisis and any person (the "client") booking a service or purchasing a product, online or on site. Any booking or purchase implies unreserved acceptance of these terms.
3. Services and products
Mimisis offers facial treatments and massages (the "treatments"), by appointment, as well as products sold online: gift cards, packages and subscriptions. The treatments are wellness and aesthetic services; they in no way constitute a medical procedure or a medical diagnosis.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. Mimisis falls under the VAT exemption scheme (article 293 B of the French General Tax Code): VAT is not applicable. Prices may change at any time; the service is invoiced at the rate in force at the time of booking.
5. Booking and payment
Treatments are booked online or by appointment. Payment for the treatment is made in cash or by bank card, directly on site on the day of the appointment. Packages, subscriptions and gift cards are payable online by bank card, through the secure payment provider Stripe. Mimisis never has access to the client's bank details.
6. Cancellation and changes
Any cancellation or change must be reported as early as possible. In the event of a no-show or a cancellation on the same day, a fee equal to 30% of the treatment amount may be charged. A minimum notice period may be required for any booking.
7. Gift cards, packages and subscriptions
Gift cards are valid for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase, non-refundable and not exchangeable for cash. Packages and subscriptions are personal and subject to the conditions stated at the time of purchase.
8. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the client has a period of fourteen (14) days to withdraw from an online purchase of a product or gift card, without reason. In accordance with article L221-28, this right does not apply to treatment services already performed, nor to services supplied on a specific date or according to a specific schedule (appointments).
9. Conduct of treatments and liability
The client undertakes to report any contraindication, allergy, skin condition, pregnancy or ongoing treatment before the session. Mimisis reserves the right to refuse or adapt a treatment for safety reasons. Mimisis cannot be held liable for inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.
10. Personal data
The data collected (name, contact details, information useful for the treatment) is necessary for managing appointments and the client relationship. It is neither transferred nor sold to third parties. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, the client has a right of access, rectification and deletion of their data by writing to contact@mimisis.com.
11. Affiliate links
Some content on the site, notably the Carnet articles, may contain affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. These links entail no additional cost for the client.
12. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the client may use a consumer mediator free of charge. Failing an amicable resolution, the French courts have jurisdiction.
